Dimension Ortho is a company founded by physicians Dr. Michael Rivlin and Dr. Pedro Beredjiklian, who grew tired of utilizing outdated methods and materials for patients’ casts and splints. Together, they assembled a team of physicians, therapists, and other clinicians to design products tailored for the demands of the 21st century.
With over 200 years of combined experience in orthopaedics, our team lead by innovation.
Our revolutionary DimensionCast™ 3D orthoses have been meticulously designed with a patient’s quality of life in mind. They are waterproof, and hygienic, providing a vastly superior alternative to traditional casting methods. Furthermore, they are backed by patented IP and integrated AI technology, and are FDA-registered, GLP- and ASTM-certified, biocompatible, and rigorously tested both clinically and biomechanically.

Our Story
Dimension Ortho was launched when orthopedic surgeon Dr. Michael Rivlin began to research novel technologies for fracture stabilization. Dr. Rivlin had realized that casting and bracing, the gold-standards of fracture care, had remained essentially unchanged for decades. Plaster and fiberglass casts are itchy, uncomfortable, messy and time-consuming to apply, not waterproof, and can’t be removed without the use of a saw. There had to be a better way.
Determined to create a more comfortable and effective cast, Dr. Rivlin and fellow orthopedic surgeon and researcher, Dr. Pedro Beredjiklian, began to study how 3D technology could be used to create a truly unique and superior solution to the problem of fracture stabilization and healing. Shortly after, his then ~3-year-old son fell and broke his arm. Little Kai Rivlin ended up being one of the first few patients to wear the 3D cast. He not only found his custom 3D-printed cast comfortable, but his fracture healed more quickly than would have been expected with a traditional cast.
Encouraged by this amazing result, Drs. Rivlin and Beredijiklian continued to improve their technology, eventually founding and expanding Dimension Ortho.
Today, Dimension Ortho is known for its innovative approach to fracture care and its commitment to finding better ways to help patients heal.
