Simplified 3D Casting for Medical Professionals

Dimension Ortho began with a group of patient-centric medical professionals. Our AI-driven, 3D technology addresses the problems of traditional orthoses not only for the patient, but for the provider as well. Learn how our innovative casts and splints revolutionized traditional casting and why medical professionals choose to help their patients heal with us.

Traditional Casts Are a Pain for Providers

The benefit of physicians founding Dimension Ortho is that our team is intrinsically in touch with both the provider and patient experience. Our 3D printed casts aim to solve the following frustrations traditional casts cause medical professionals.

3D Printed Casts Are the Solution of the Future

No Cast Saw Required

Our 3D printed orthotics cast solves common provider frustrations and helps provide the best care to patients. Through extensive research and development, Dimension Ortho designed a cast with the following benefits for providers.

  • Radiolucent design allows doctors to perform an MRI, CT Scan, or X-Ray without loss of fixation
  • Custom design allows for a nearly 80% lower re-fit rate compared to traditional orthoses
  • Innovative technology allows for scans of the injured area in under 10 seconds
  • Small scanner is easy to fit in an office for on-site scanning
  • Application can take less than 10 minutes, and removal is even faster
  • Hygienic, waterproof, durable materials provide more comfort and freedom for patients in the healing process

How Our Cast Works

Medical professionals can use our custom 3D scanner to quickly scan a patient’s injury in their office. From here, we create a custom cast design in just minutes. We then use our patented production process to print the patient’s cast. Finally, we send the cast to the doctor’s office, where a doctor can apply the cast to a patient’s injury in minutes.

Additionally, we have received five patents relating to our 3D cast technology and design. Our cast has also been the subject of at least 10 peer-reviewed research papers.
